Is it free to enter the Facebook Awards?


Is there a limit to the number of entries I can submit?

No, as long as they meet the eligibility requirements.

When’s the deadline to enter?

11:59PM PST on May 5, 2017.

Can I enter one campaign in more than one category?

Yes, you can enter your campaign in as many categories as you wish, but you’re only eligible to win one prize in each category.

Submission Details

What are the eligible dates for the work I submit?

The work must have been completed between April 1, 2016 and April 28, 2017.

Who can submit work?

Anyone can submit work on behalf of their agency or brand. Find out if you have the appropriate permissions by reading the eligibility requirements.

What types of submissions are you looking for?

This year, we’re looking for work that moved people to feel and act. The work should be a creative, effective example of marketing with Facebook. Please include at least one image with your written campaign description. We also strongly recommend including a case study video to be considered for an award. You can read more about what the judges are looking for on the Categories and What to Enter pages.

What are the technical specs for submitting media?

For videos:

  • File format: .mp4
  • File size: Max 350mb
  • Resolution: 1280x720px
  • Sound: All video must include sound

For images:

  • File format: .jpg
  • File size: Max 5mb
  • Dimensions: 1600x900px
Do you accept work from all countries and languages?

We accept work from all countries and languages, as long as the campaign description is in English. Please make sure your case study videos are in English or have English subtitles.

What Comes Next

What happens to my work after I submit it?

We’ll send you an email right away to let you know we received it. We’ll email you again if we decide to publish your submission. From there, campaigns that exemplify great marketing with Facebook may be promoted to the spotlight. All published work is eligible for an award.

How will I find out if my submission is published?

We’ll notify you via email. Due to the volume of submissions, we can’t respond to every submission we receive.

How will work be judged?

You can read more about how we’re evaluating work in each category in the Categories section.

When will you announce winners?

We’ll announce global winners on June 15, 2017.
